Norton Day 2003 is to be celebrated by the first ever FNORD awards (Fantasy-simulated Norton Awards).



The FNORD awards are an evolution of the Skyline Awards founded by Scott Siskind of the Apollo Skyline and Premier of Audentior. A committee of five eminent micronationalists have nominated and voted for ten intermicronational prizes to be awarded to deserving recipients.



Emperor Norton Day 2003 is the 123rd anniversary of the untimely death of British immigrant Joshua Abraham Norton, the much beloved self-proclaimed Emperor of the United States from 1859 to 1880.
