The Parliamentary Dissolution Act 2003 was this week passed in the Aerlig Parliament, meaning the Aerlish will soon be off to the polls to elect the fifth Parliament of the republic.

While an election has never been had in Aerlig due to five or less nominations for the five seat National Parliament, it is expected that this election will be strongly contested.

Lachlan Powers' MFP looks set to field its three candidates for the election, and former protector John Sendler has declared his interest. Long term MP Sudhadip Sen is expected to renominate for the New ANP, and there is waiting to see weather other current MPs will renominate, or if any new citizens will throw there hat in.
