From the World Sevens Spectator, written by Jimmy and Johnny - On the Ball

Pool A

Lechardten Region v Empire of Crofton

The Empire won this game 10-0. No tries, only goals to the Empires kicking specialist Rico. (reminds me of a young Johnny kicking goals)

Farren Eayst Rangers v Yardistan Rebels

Farren Eayst are still undefeated. Defeating the Rebels 10-6. However Yardistan came back in the second half and won the second half 4-0 (It was 10-2 at halftime). Rangers for the title!

Skerry Scuttlers v Amerada Aeros

Skerry finally win a match, so far this series they've lost a lot of close ones, just not finishing the other team off. It was 8-0 at halftime and Amerada could not find any firepower to score in the second half. Skerry won 8-0. First match Steven Richards did not score all the points, Man of the Match Test scored a try.

Pool B & C

Well all six teams in Pool's B and C got the day off today. Jimmy and I joined them in the local pup for a nice sherry (well, we were drinking sherry). Let me tell you, the boys in the New Bruges Earls side won the beer drinking contest, hopefully that won't effect there performance tomorrow. They even managed to outdrink the Califario boys!

Seeing as we are about half way through pool play (and a quarter of the way through the Cup) we thought we'd give a review on the action so far as well as a prediction of the future. (knowing me and Jimmy we'll jinx every team we mention). Its not often we use tables and data but todays on of those days...More
