The Micronational Exposition - Outline

In the coming weeks and over the holidays, I will begin publishing articles covering the various unused concept micronations i've dreamed up throughout my career here, beginning with my earliest ideas in August 2000, to my present and last ideas when I retired just a couple of weeks ago.



Each article will, in effect, be a full synopsis and summary of these concept nations. Included in them will be images and artwork I created for these relic entities, most of which until now has never been published. Indeed, some of these concept nations have fully functional websites with complete histories and original artwork that never left my harddrive.



Before publishing this material however, I am going to stress the fact that this work is still original and considered the property of myself. I'm not giving these projects to the public to use, rather I am simply showcasing them for review and entertainment purposes, such as an artist displays his work in an art gallery.



If at any time you or yours wishes to use some of this material for your own projects or what-not, simply e-mail me warvoid@aol.com and state your desire to use the material. I'm sure I will be most amiable to such requests, but I won't tolerate blatant plagarism. Some of these projects took me months to create and are indeed very personal creations, so please respect them as such and ask before taking.



Otherwise, I look forward to publishing this material and showing the many could have beens of my mind. Each article published will cover a particular concept, since some of the images and materials involved with these are quite large. I welcome all comments and thoughts and hope people will share their opinions on these as they are published.



The first article to be published will be a synopsis of the High Kingdom of Miunai, a planned sister kingdom to Babkha that was to be Arab instead of Iranian and dedicated to the Egyptian godess Bastet (I have a thing for cats). Originally developed around June-July of this year, it was inspired by HP Lovecraft's The Cats of Ulthar. Naturally, more information on Miunai will be published in that article. Expect it to be published fairly soon, and more articles to follow throughout the month and over the holidays.

Ever since you mentioned all these micronations you'd thought up, I've been curious about them; glad to know I'll get my chance to learn. Just make sure you don't forget to keep publishing.



If you're going to make an expo out of this, perhaps other people might post articles? Not all of us have whole micronations fleshed out on our hard drives and in websites, but I'm sure lots of micronationalists have thought of potentially-great-but-never-successful ideas and/or micronations that they might want to share. (And I find myself unable to resist an opportunity to show off Isodimos and some other things I'd thought up, if I can get it.  )

Considering each article will cover a specific idea, that'd be hard to do (together that is). However, you're welcome to add your own ideas and articles along the same lines as this if you wish. It's more or less an exposition because I have over a dozen unused micronations.
