(sorry about the delay for starting this summit, the reason will be revealed later on)

Welcome to the MNN Economic Summit 2007! This Summit will hopefully be the beginning of a new age in micronational economics, where business works. Here with us tonight are dignitaries from around the micronational world, leading micronations, such as Babkha, Shireroth, Novasolum, Alexandria, Antica and Anthelia to name but a few.

My aim when I planned this Summit was to bring together the micronational world, the great nations, the superpowers, if you will, and to devise ways in which the Anglophone Sector can move forward economically. The response leading up to this event has been tremendous and I can safely say that this Summit will be the cradle for economic policy for the next 5 years, as the last Summit did in building the foundations for micronational economics between 2002-2007.

I would just like to thank the forefathers of this event, the ones who held the last Summit and are unfortunately not with us today, *raises a toast* “to the forefathers!”.

The Summit is going to work as follows, those who have been designated as a representative for their national government (you’ll know if you are one) are expected to comment on most of the topics put forward if they in any way concern your nation, it may be best for you to consult your government on some subjects. Other people can obviously give their opinion on all subjects (the more the merrier!), but to ensure that we all know if it’s the view of the government, could all representatives please ensure that all of their posts during this summit are in bold, and that they state that they are on behalf of their nation’s government. The itenary is as follows;

Week One: Economic and Political Theory
-   Opening Ceremony
-   Multinationals and Differences in Governments
-   Taxation
-   National Budgets
-   Economic Association

Week Two: Intermicronational Economics and Mapping Societies
-   Economics and the MCS (MCS Representative)
-   Economics and the GSO (GSO Representative)
-   Central Exchange Rates – New Exchange Rate Calculation?
-   Central Exchange Organisation?

Week Three: Micronational Operations
-   National Banks and Bank Accounts
-   Businesses and Business Ownership – Central Business Incorporation Convention?
-   Micronational Economy in RecWars (Ben Gray) – Central Policy?
-   Stock Exchanges, Stock Management – Central Stock Exchange?

Week Four: Proposals and Discussion from Other Members and on Topics discussed earlier

Week Five: Voting on Conventions
-   Micronational Business Incorporation Convention
-   Micronational Currency Convention
-   Micronational Stock Exchange Convention
-   Micronational RecWar Economics Convention
-   Closing Ceremony
