The Commonwealth's done fantastically well with Zimbabwe.

The Commonwealth has done all it can (with its present status and powers anyway) in regards to Zimbabwe. Its a political minefield for the Commonwealth biggies such as Britain to use an organ developed out of imperialism against Mugabe, who constantly rages about Britain and its past, carefully disregarding the fact that if it wasn't for us, he wouldn't be in power.

As to the point about America joining, I doubt Britain would allow it. It would sacrifice the only organisation it holds a pretty strong sway on to the Americans and I doubt Britain would allow that.

This is rediculous, you all seem like you want to crown someone just for the sake of crowning them. You must realize that there is a greater goal which is the advancement of technology. Have you ever heard of a country with a purpose? No of course not! If you have than it wasn't a country, rather an organization. What is needed the most probably is a grand united assembly, in which consists of the leaders, of all the global organizations. This would keep the world focused on technology and space exploration, which is where the human race sure enough needs to be right now.  I like the debating anyhow.

Well, I just saw it.....

I should be Emperor. I've got poorly faked royal ancestry based on grandma's verbal wanderings near the end.

I've got Imperial ambition, an an imperious attitude.

And if you don't choose me, I'll leave in a huff and come back two days later to vote for Hasan.

And if he doesn't get it either, I'll plot the downfall of whoever does.
