The Age of Globalization has arrived

« on: January 25, 2008, 12:09 PM »

Well I believe in the real World it’s the World Currency Exchange in New York that essentially is the decider of world currency rates but you can’t really have a trade in micronationalism so I developed a formula to calculate currency rates and I would like to propose an organization to oversee this.

The Formula would compose of a number of things, first a council of elected members would come together and vote on an economic rating from 1-10 of the country (Based on Economic Strength, how well build and operational the economy, trade relations etc), the active citizen count would also be in the formula. The third thing in the formula is national stability (since that affects the real world rates) the elected council to oversea this would rate the country out of 3 for Stability (Strong governing, if the country is currently in armed conflicts it goes up or down etc.) This would be revised every month so the currency rates would fluctuate. I think this system would be both fair and efficient in determining the Giess world currency rates.

I changed my mind about the EU

This is jumping the gun; we haven't even got the basics of the economic system sorted, and the Gotzer PU system we're likely to consider would render such a system redundant anyway.

Tokidoki has a wonderful php mod they've adapted to their forum for purchasing. I don't see why a similar mod can't be open-sourced out to everyone as a sort of blanket template for a greater regulating body. Hesam's proposal of an ISO for micronations is an excellent idea and something that should be considered with more seriousness.

Oh. Someone said it was Hesams. Anyhow, I'd like to see more on this idea.

Currently we've reached a consensus on the overall structure of the organisation and are now waiting for me to finish writing up the draft charter to present for discussion.

Both Hesam and Ben have two separate ISO proposals ... Ben's is the one being discussed by-and-large at this conference. Hesam's was discussed in Talk Micronations.

Well I think what we found was that we were using different adjectives to describe the same thing.

Would there be room to incorporate Arguros into the system after Sander completes it?
