The Age of Globalization has arrived

Well with all the talk going on about possible elections in Canada (they always say there’s an election coming up) I would say that it's a good time to kick up a discussion about whom you would want to win the elections.

We are really stuck between two leaders, Steven Harper current Prime Minister who really runs a tight government (and opposes Barrack Obama allegedly Wink ), controls question period and stresses the importance of Canada's Military VS Stephen Dion, Liberal leader who really does not have strong popularity (http://youtube.com/watch?v=LLNfNsHooNo), wants a carbon tax on gas and won't give up his dual French citizenship if he becomes Prime Minister. And no one expects the NDP to do anything. What really cracks me up about Jack Layton is how he rides a bike to parliament. Now I give him the credit for helping out with the environment but I would die of laughter if he was to be injured while using the mostly horribly designed bicycle infrastructure if he was to ever be Prime Minister. I also can’t stand how he is constantly agreeing with both the opposition and the ruling party and then turning around the next day and criticizing them.

If elections were tomorrow I think I would go for Harper although I’m not to supportive of some of his policies, maybe even the green party will get its first seat in the elections.

I met Layton once. He was completely smashed and stank of whiskey.

Dion is a complete moron who is a separatist in disguise. Who the hell cares about Quebec nationalism with a new revenue generator coming out of Alberta? All of a sudden, people woke up and realized? Who the hell needs Quebec? what the hell have we been wasting this money on?

I was originally opposed to Harper. His low key Christian fundamentalism still freaks me out. But I have to admit, he's been doing a very good job since taking office. Of course, his real changes won't come until he has a majority government.

Personally, I miss the old PC Party. Proper blue blooded Tories, but their days are long gone.

Oh and by the way, Isn't anyone the least bit concerned about the Hell's Angels connection to Bremier? I mean, they shuffled him, fine. But it's not like  you can date the ex-wife of a murdered mob boss and NOT know about her history.
