I have just recently founded the Kingdom of Abydos. It is almost entirely a democracy.Exept for the fact I'm King Wink I thought I'd just announce that I have done so.Here is the website address(there's a forum there as well):
www.freewebs.com/abydosgov
If you like you can join, the theme is ancient Egyptian/Greek.I'm in the process of getting more citizens.

Remember spaces following punctuation marks and commas.

Other than that, you'll probably have to include details for contact relating to diplomacy and gaining citizenship.

A Democracy is not necessarily a Republic. Wink

Heyla,

Lykosha has an elective monarchy; you could try that, if you want.  The Jarl makes decrees, but the Althing can veto these, if the majority is big enough.

I really kinda have to be anti-communist because of my citizenship in Alexandria(they hate commi's Wink ) But I can't really relate to communist nations anyway.

Quick question:

If the Kingdom of Abydos is a serious nation project that will not entertain diplomatic relations with nations that do not meet the fundamental requirements of statehood (namely, land), yet Abydos does not have any land claims anywhere in the world, what nations will you entertain diplomacy with?

New Germany would definitely be interested in relations with your nation, as an Egyptian (I'm assuming Ptolemaic, since you specified Egyptian/Greek) nation, it is as unique as New Germany's attempt at Monarchial Fascism, and such relations (if played out appropriately) would develop as uniquely. New Germany is not a serious nation-building project, however, and has no interest in expanding its real-world territory from the chair in which I sit.
