Matt, I think you should just oblige the man and give him a recwar. His constant and unwavering stance on the authenticity of this document is more or less an excuse to see if he cant provoke you into a recwar.

Ah, but a recwar against Katyusha might inspire COFS to get involved ...

Your Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen, Assorted Tudeh Infidel Scum,
Here follows a statement on the recent scandal and the looming tensions between Katyusha and Ocia made on behalf of the Council of Free States.
A plague on both their houses.
Thank you and good day.

Always so delightful to hear from you, Ardy. @ Nick - Council of Free States, the anti-communist bloc.

Ahh. And Katyushka is communist. Well, If a conflict arises, Ocia has Cerulea as an ally.

Unlikely, looking at the shoddy activity of the CoFS and the fact that the treaty was never actually signed.

Treaties can be signed quickly. However, I agree that if Katyusha and Ocia go to war the Council of Free States should echo Truman's grasp of foreign policy while he was VP during the Second World War.

I’m not sure anyone cares what the COFS statement is and it would be nothing short of contradiction for them to take any sides. Babkha has been constantly war mongering and attempting to slander Ocia for months; at the same time ideologically they are completely against Katyusha because they are communist. Tomsett lets not let your swaggered stance get in the way of the facts, Ocia has never ever formally surrendered in ANY armed Conflict. In fact we claimed victory in the Dalmantia war (which was orchestrated by Tomsett for those who don’t know) which was by the way the poorest Rec War-ing I have ever seen, I had no time on my hands and we still were able to win. Katyusha could never beat Ocia without any assistance. By the way this has proven that the reason why this document was fabricated was because Katyusha wants a war, even after the Ocian President Michael Dervin expressed his willingness to continue friendly relations even after this pathetic document was released.

I spoke to Kieren on the matter and he said that it was supposed to read, “the document which was made to look like it had fallen into the hands of the enemy….†Wow you really stumbled across some hard core proof there . As editor it's your duty to make sure that articles can't be that misinterpreted. At least we know that the output of MilleniumNews remains at the usual standard we have come to expect of it.

In fact we claimed victory in the Dalmantia war There is a difference between claiming victory and achieving victory. Just let it drop Matt. Will's not going to back down and you're the only one who doesn't have anything to lose by backing down.

I suppose your right, the BNS I mean INS makes sure all of their articles are passed through you before they are published just to make sure they are neutral. Thanks for the advice.

Don't confuse the standard "you" have come to expect of Millennium News with journalistic standards. Needless to say, it's still badly lacking in that department.
