My exact point, this is the reason why we should continue and try and push forward with this revolutionary idea.

You can go on the Micras map and still have a realistic organisation for the realistic nation that imposes standards.

Look at the current GSO map.  You have Greenuk on there.  You have Kavalos on there.  Both of them are well and truly, removed from the MCS months ago, DEAD.  Even if the GSO doesn't get nice reminders that nations have died from their citizens, or from staff members who pay attention to posting, surely Guido should have noticed, he's around MCS enough.  Remember Marc dissapearing and Craitman claiming Greenuk, Guido?
Reindeer Herders are also dead, possibly even longer, but were only removed more recently.  Zindaria were removed from MCS almost a month ago for inactivity for three months (though I know you had trouble the last time you tried to remove them), and Olseslaad-Svensland should have had its name changed to Amokolia months and months ago, before even the dissolution of Gralus, and I'm fairly sure Jess told you that all those months ago to.

The point is, I agree with Hesam - you don't have enough hard core realistic nations to make a map on your own, and if you're looking at the map and thinking there are a decent number, you're deluding yourself because you're keeping dead ones on.  No wonder Behmanesh couldn't get contacts for all the voting reps ....
So go to the other one and just form a realist organisation/club.  Impose standard on yourself, but also allow diplomacy, trading and war with everyone else.

Last time I tried to update the GSO on a dead nation (Riponia), I was told (correctly) that only a member of the nation could do that. Or something along those lines.

Now there’s a silly rule to get rid of … (and replace with something like a three month/declared dead elsewhere thing)
